BCN’s, Beth Undem, ‘putting down the books’ and retiring

After 43 years of teaching and being the librarian at Barnes County North, Beth Undem (pictured above) is finally putting down the books in class and opening a whole new chapter. Her chapter begins with gardening, grandkids, and a motorcycling trip this summer. She plans to be involved with her grandchildren by attending more of their events this fall, along with helping the transition of the new librarian, Jodi Olson. Beth and her husband Steve plan to fly south for the winter after the holidays.
